Free guide
Build your own Janet.
Everyone's building their own Jarvis right now. I built one but named her Janet. This is the free guide to making your own: an assistant that learns your work and gets sharper the more you use it, instead of one you re-brief from scratch every time.
What you'll actually do
- Install Hermes Agent. The open-source framework that wraps a raw model in memory and real tools.
- Write a SOUL.md. Give your assistant a real job and a voice, instead of "be helpful."
- Point it at a small workspace. Now it learns your actual work instead of guessing.
- Add a tiny local UI, if you want. A text box and your assistant answering back.
It learns as you go
The more I work with Janet, the less I have to explain. She picks up how I write and what I'm working on, and she keeps it. Correct her once and it sticks.
Janet's different because the system around the model is different. She builds a real memory of my work and gets sharper every time I correct her. Usually it's the same model underneath. The scaffolding around it is what makes her actually learn.
This is the honest version, not a shiny demo. You'll build a real one and learn how the pieces fit.
